Loser Playlist: Rascal Flatts Country Sway

Rascal Flatts are a personal timeless favorite. Memory capsule. Country. Wedding?

While Rascal Flatts have been a long time favorite of mine, it’s taken some time to get them wrapped around Z’s little heart. Country, isn’t his style. So, you can imagine my surprise when he first told me he had a song for us. Oh, OK?! I hadn’t gotten to the song yet, I believe that’s July’s task. However, January is just fine, too. Then, the shock that tinged my heart as the song started ad the warmth that engulfed my heart as Rascal Flatts began to play was a moment to remember.

If the one is going to hit us like a ton of bricks and swoon us with love at first sight, our song still awaits its grand entrance. For now, we can consider all options. Today’s option: I Won’t Let Go, Rascal Flatts.

I Won’t Let Go lyrics

It’s like a storm
That cuts a path
It breaks your will
It feels like that
You think you’re lost
But you’re not lost
On your own
You’re not alone

I will stand by you
I will help you through
When you’ve done all you can do
And you can’t cope
I will dry your eyes
I will fight your fight
I will hold you tight
And I won’t let go

It hurts my heart
To see you cry
I know it’s dark
This part of life
Oh, it finds us all
But we’re too small
To stop the rain
Oh, but when it rains

I will stand by you
I will help you through
When you’ve done all you can do
And you can’t cope
I will dry your eyes
I will fight your fight
I will hold you tight
And I won’t let you fall

Don’t be afraid to fall
I’m right here to catch you
I won’t let you down
It won’t get you down
You’re gonna make it
Yeah, I know you can make it

Cause I will stand by you
I will help you through
When you’ve done all you can do
And you can’t cope
And I will dry your eyes
I will fight your fight
I will hold you tight
And I won’t let go

Oh I’m gonna hold you
And I won’t let go
Won’t let you go
No, I won’t
